I got this amp from Tony Moore on the Dudepit. He said that his tech had added a load resistor to the direct out jack so that it could be used without the speaker being connected. When I got it, I opened it up to see how that was done. There are many more mods that Tony didn't know about or at least didn't mention. The power tubes are now 6V6 instead of the oddball 7868's. Also a bias pot has been added and well as many other new parts. It sounds great. It reminds me more of my Bassman than my B15N. It's lightweight and I use it a lot for acoustic blues gigs.
